GULF STATE PARK, GULF SHORES AL

You do realize you are NOT on the ocean. The park surrounds several small canals that run inland. The ocean is several miles away by car...Dennis
The ocean is actually 5 minutes away by bicycle. I don't know how you traveled for it to be "several miles" ! :E
We've walked to the beach from our campsite. It certainly wasn't 'miles'.
