Thanks to everyone for their comments. There are some good suggestions and ideas out there. I agree that the kids/adults can fend for themselves, but my wife voiced that she's not so keen on the idea....at this time.
When I told her that pulling our new rig in the snow/ice/salt would be no fun she suggested we get it down there before the weather gets truly bad and then come back. We had an exciting event in Nashville our first year and while we and our then rig survived it made an impression on her. I'll keep working on her and think in time I will prevail....I hope.
