Hartwick Pines CG, Michigan

Feeling spring fever at home, I jumped the gun on the camping season.

I don't think this park opens until May, but they allow off-season use at a discount. (no services except electric)

I had thought by this time in April they'd have at least one spigot turned on, but nope! Drove into town for dinner at a greasy dive bar, and picked up a few gal of water. My fresh tank in the rv is filled with sanitizer water, it's fine for washing hands and flushing the john.

This morning it sounded like thunder out, but it was really live-fire training over at camp grayling, kind of neat, as I've never heard heavy weapons fire before.

Beautiful star filled sky last night - no rv neighbors with their clearance lights and LED palm trees left lit up all night :)

Campground looks like it would be busy in the summer, lots of spots for BIG RIGS, long paved pull-through pads with full hook-ups.

Time for some breakfast.
