I think it has a lot to do with location plus supply and demand. In our RV community, all the lots are deeded and when the ski resort was being built in 2005, they had a price of $25K-$75K and not many sold. Then the ski resort went belly up and the prices came down to what the area was worth, $17K-$60K and are flying out the door.

It is the same with the S&B in the area. Townhomes, built in 2008, had a price of $269,900. They sat empty till 2 months ago, when the price reached $75K-$80K and they all sold in a matter of weeks.
