Hatteras and Ocracoke Island recommendations

We will be trying Howard's Pub when we go to Ocracoke. Had a friend also recommend it. Looking forward to some time with the wife and getting back to OBX. Haven't been since 1990.

For Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo

StingWrays which is great food, For a pizza/Italian food, Lisa's Pizza(probably the best on the OBX)...also Good Winds café in Rodanthe...and if you come up to the mid OBX..do not miss the Kill Devil Grill...a bit more expensive BUT WORTH IT..

sMacnallys - Dockside open air, good burgers, may be a bit cold in March

We liked Howard's Pub on a hot day in Ocracoke - on the road at the edge of town that leads to the NPS Pony Pen and campground.
