- LwiddisExplorer IIYes, the Governor has shutdown camping. The Inyo National Forest is cooperating too.
- gboppExplorerDay of the Triffids? Maybe it's good you can't go. :C
- capacitorExplorerDo you have a lot of light pollution at your house? I have minimal so I’ll be watching. It is cold outside so I’ll see how long I can last.
- QCManNomad IIIJust watched the space station go by. I think I will be able to see them and the satellites going by.
- _1FlyboyExplorerHow about Boondocking?
- profdant139Explorer III live in suburban SoCal -- there are about ten stars in the sky on a good night.
And flyboy, even boondocking is a no go in the national forests.
2020 is just not my year. Next year is going to be better, I think!! - opnspacesNavigator III was boondocking in anza borrego last weekend. The ranger drove up and glanced at my campsite on his way by. That was the extent of his interaction.
- wopachopExplorerCamping is still good to go in SoCal deserts. The rangers are not busting nice camping people.
- profdant139Explorer III just found out that the BLM is still allowing boondocking (but not campground camping). That is official policy, or so I was told. That opens up some possibilities . . . .
- wopachopExplorerYoure in SD right? Head out to buttercup.
