Head for the boonies -- meteor shower Sunday nite . . .

No meteors -- cloudy weather in the desert. But the trip was fun anyways. Trip report will be posted in a new thread, maybe in a couple of weeks, after I get all my gear cleaned up from all the dust in the desert!! ;)

And there is no moon, so you can watch the meteors zip across the aurora. Bundle up and enjoy!!

Don't know about SoCal, but maybe Northern California could see a light show along with the meteor shower show tonight if the sky is clear.

Is the meteor shower this weekend? I've been debating going out this weekend since the trailer is still at home full of food.

I just found out that the BLM is still allowing boondocking (but not campground camping). That is official policy, or so I was told. That opens up some possibilities . . . .

Camping is still good to go in SoCal deserts. The rangers are not busting nice camping people.
