We still have two weeks before we leave Florida for New England, but I suspect things will only get worse with regards to the Corona virus before we leave. Since we live on an island and need a ferry ride to get home we are watching to make sure the boat is running before we leave so we don’t get stuck living in the coach in cold damp weather. Being in a class B we usually take advantage of campground facilities as we travel, but seeing state parks starting to close down I’m thinking we may need to drive longer days and “live in our coach” to get home. Is it just me planning this out?Dave

I don't think anyone knows where we go from here. We've never been through any of these circumstances before so any advice you get is purely conjecture. Wishing you luck on your trip home. We'll be heading towards home on the 27th. We did have a couple of stops planned but now figure on bypassing them and going straight back.

jdc1 Agree with you to a point. In RV's we don't have much room to "stock."An extra pack of TP or paper towles is about it... So, I don't think us RVers are the cause of this mass hysteria in stockpiling.

Lots of RV's heading north from the RGV (Rio Grande Valley of Texas) Many have left and many are leaving earlier than planned. Just said goodbye to some Canadian friends who were going to leave in three weeks.

I’m in West Palm Beach for spring training baseball, which was cancelled, along with many other things, on Thursday. County park campground announced Friday that they would refund fees for those who want to leave early. Although I’m heading out tomorrow, my sense is that most of the non-baseball snowbirds are sticking to their original plans, so far.

When you go away for the winter do you leave your fridge full. How about fresh produce, bread etc. We always have to re-stock when we get back. Hard to do if the local stores are empty.

An extra pack of TP or paper towles is about it... So, I don't think us RVers are the cause of this mass hysteria in stockpiling.
