Heading North in a few days - are campsites crowded?

I'm planning on heading north past las Vegas to Washington (Hwy 93) and wonder what the campsite availability might be like. Boondocking, dry camping or RV parks are okay. Has anyone doe this rece...

North of Ely, Nv is the pony express rest area. Just south of RA entrance is a road, gravel, east that is good for boondocking.
