I have booked site #52 at Henderson Beach SP for Sept 8th, andI was wondering if anyone has ever stayed in this one, and if it's good. Pros & Cons, etc.We like lots of room, and lots of privacy.We also travel with our dogs.Any help will be appreciated.ThanksDJ

Have you looked at it from Google earth? Many times I'm able to get a good idea of what a site looks like that way.

We were in the park last year but I have trouble remembering what number site I was in when I was there, and have no clue 10 months later. The park has 2 types of sites, large pull thus in the middle of the loops and back in sites on the exterior. I remember that all the sites were pretty nice and most offered privacy. The back in sites were not real wide but were pretty deep. Of course, it all depends on the length of your RV.Beautiful campground, have a great time!

We were at Henderson mid-June (site 23). All the sites are private with natural growth between. The pull-throughs are very private and roomy. Pull-throughs are both in the middle of the loop and some are on the outside of the loop (like yours).If you need beach stuff, the Destin Wal-Mart is straight out the park gate and across the highway. Probably has a bigger beach stuff selection than your local WM.
