Henderson Beach St. Pk.

Almost all the sites in Henderson State Park are decent. It is one of those places that have only good and better sites in our opinion. All of the sites are only a short walk from the beach across a boardwalk. Be sure to check and see what time they lock the gates if you are planning a late arrival.

We have already made a two week reservation there for early November. Have a great time!!

We love this park, in fact we will be there last week of April. The beach is one of the best in the US. Rent a boat and cruise the bay with many bars and restaurants on the water. There is a party spot under the bridge with shallow water and it gets lots of boats anchored and partying. The restaurant row at the bridge allows dogs. I have chartered an off shore fishing boat and limited out on king fish within sight of the high rise condos. If you are into the beach life you will really like Destin.

I agree with you 1000 percent, but don't see where it listed in the rules. Can you point me in the right direction?

We do Destin every year but opt for Topsail Hill SP just down the road (we like FHU).

The National Weather Service only recognizes one town in the continental United States by the name of "Destin". That narrowed it down for me.

It looks like a decent site. Henderson Bch is a great park and Destin is designed for tourists. Good seafood dining is plentiful. See details and pics here;
