Yes there is a day use area in the park where you can park. The walk to the beach is relatively short so give it a shot one time to see if it works as the campers beach is much less crowded. If I recall correctly there was a bench on the pathway to the beach that would allow some measure of comfort for a few minutes if needed. Road noise in the CG is not an issue at all.
