Hey Eastern Washingtonians! Wanapum Dam Drawdown?

I heard about the crack in the dam last week. Looks like the drawdown for repairs has dropped the water level about twenty feet. Link to article I've only found this one picture on the web so far...

We drove down the Crescent Bar from Wenatchee this afternoon. It's pretty awesome seeing rock, sand bars and islands that we've never seen before. Rock Island dam, the next dam upstream, is also dumping water through the spillways to relieve pressure on that dam too.
