Hidden Gem/ Corinth CG in Double Springs Alabama

If you ever want a nice clean quiet campground in the middle of a National Forest consider Corinth in Double Springs AL. It is in the Bankhead National Forest and is part of the of the Forestry Service. They have over 50 huge sites with paved pads long enough for any rig which are split between two loops. All sites are 30/50 Amp with water, sewer, picnic table, fire pit and lantern poles. All sites and roads are very easy to navigate. It is located on Smith Lake which can be seen from many of the sites. Included in the camping fee is free access to a beach on the lake as well as a large boat ramp. They also have plumbed bath houses in each loop. They open in March and close at the end of October. The fee is $34 per night or just $17 with the Senior National Pass. Corinth CG is located just east of Double Springs on HWY 278. It is 37 miles west of Cullman AL, 37 miles east of Hamilton AL and 65 miles north of Birmingham AL. Just thought that I would share this with you as it is so under utilized and it is a shame to let it go to waste.
