Besides finding some rather unique scenic features in the plains of OK, another real advantage to this place is it sits way down in the canyon, so when the winds are blowing across the plains, one is quite protected down in the canyon. A good overnight stop for those heading east or west on US 40. Well worth the 10 or 15 minute drive off the interstate.
