Spent a week down there last July, camped at Fish Lake. Sites are fair size, some "pull thru's" (guess I'd say that tongue in cheek!!). Junipers, Alders, brush, most sites are fairly private. Main loop had a shed with solar powered water pump with reservoir tank! CG even had garbage service!!
Just uphill a mile or so was a small lake that had some boondocking spots along the banks. Looked like it was on range land, not associated with the BLM parks. Then another 2 miles or so up is another BLM site, BUT (!!) if you have anything larger than 14-15 ft behind you, I guarantee you will be in trouble if you drive down there!!! Very small sites, and no room to maneuver.
Just noticed I don't have any pics of CG, but will try to post some from the top.
