Several years ago our friends recommended that we check out the Warner Mountain Range and Steens Mountain, but we haven't made it yet - maybe soon.
We boondocked a few miles to the west of Steens Mountain out in the high desert about 25 miles north of Plush, OR a few years ago and the night skies out there were spectacular. I can only imagine what the skies would be like up high in any mountains in that same area.
I wonder if our 24 foot Class C RV could navigate the Steens Mountain Loop Road, the Folly Farm road, and maybe drycamp at the Fish Lake or South Steens campground?
