High season Oregon coast RV park monthly rates

I love the Oregon coast, and have spent most of the last few summers there, paying through the nose for weekly motels. I would like to try transitioning to an RV park for weekly or monthly stays, but ...

Seems like you haven't done much research. I've RV'd the Oregon Coast for about the past 5 years, staying in private RV parks, and have never paid anywhere near $85/night. Also I've never experienced what you describe in your last paragraph. But I do know of a few parks in that price range. Have a look at rvparkreviews.com. Check out all the little towns along the coast. You'll find something.
