Hillsborough River State Park Florida

We're currently at Myakka River State Park near Sarasota, halfway through a 2-week stay we booked last winter. All of the campsites have been full almost every night, with a just an occasional single night's vacancy. We're booking various state park sites for next winter the instant the reservation window opens at 8am EDT.

Thanks to all who replied, usually I can find a weekend cancellation throughout the week but nothing here.

The struggle is real. It's getting really tough to get a campsite this time of year.

We know from experience to always book 11 months out.

That and the Strawberry Festival ends today in Plant City. There was also a group camping there just recently. I live about 5 miles from the State Park. Keep trying.
