It's funny, MI has a nice new reservation system. The maps don't display the spigot locations like the old system did. I guess you'd have to call. Be advised that water spigots in MI state parks are designed specifically to not allow hoses to be connected. So the tank refill process will involve filling up water containers and carrying them to your TT. Then using gravity to fill the tank. NOTE: If you need to move your rig and dump your tanks mid stay you can refill your tanks at the dump location as they mostly have a potable water outlet nearby.

Funny thing is, many of the other parks on the new system do show the spigot locations. My intention is not to hook up indefinitely, just long enough to refill my static tank and then disconnect. The last thing I want to do is drag the trailer back over to the fill stations. Try as we might, with a Wife and three kids under the age of five we tend to use a lot of water (my blue tote gets a workout!) I also tried calling the park but it went to voicemail.

Sorry, don't know where the spigots are located, but we have a 45 gallon portable refill that use when needed. We place in on top of the truck, fill it up, drive to the RV, and gravity feeds it in. Works great for the state parks. No carrying heavy water totes needed. Got it from camping world about 4 years ago. Seems like we need to refill every 3-4 days or so.

We spent 4 days here over Labor Day weekend 2013. We were in the site right next to the playground and there was a water spigot that was close enough to the site if you had plenty of hose. As was noted above though, you cannot attach a hose to any of the water spigots in the campground. Also, you have to stand and hold the handle on to get water. We have an 85 gallon fresh water tank and didn't need to use the spigot. You might be better off getting close to a bathhouse and insisting everyone use that instead of your trailer!

I don't know what it is about Michigan's park system, but they seem to choose water spigots randomly as it is different for each park I've been to.

Higgins Lake North had the worst spigots I had ever encountered. They were only good for filling buckets, but they looked awesome. Each was a hand made stone covered cement column, with a handicap push button and a pitcher-pump style trough the water flowed out of. There was no way to attach anything smaller than a 4" hose to that trough, and even hitting the hole in a tote would be a challenge.

At Tahquamenon Falls, the water spigots were still turned off (I was there for labor day), but they would have worked with a hose-bandit type adapter.

St. Ignaces had the best I've seen... actual threaded spigots, with a handle that stayed on until turned off... By the time I had stayed at St. Ignace, I had gotten over my phobia of filling at the dump station, so I did not need in-park water.
