Holiday Travel Park Emerald Isle NC

We live about 1.5 hours away but have never stayed at this campground. $110 a night in the summer is one reason. Another is we really don't think there is a lot to do or see. We are going this weekend & we are getting pretty excited. First, it will be our maiden voyage on our new camper. Second, it is somewhere we have never stayed. Finally, my parents & a friends will be coming as we'll.

Any input good or bad is welcome. I see there is a go-cart race track nearby. What else? Fort Macon. Nc aquarium.

Thanks.
  • We are staying at MB Travel Park for Easter for $51/night. I know things go up more into summer months but still not bad for what is offered with the cost.

That's pretty good. I looked at myrtle beach travel parks website and didn't see a way to reserve online. Did I miss it?

We will be down in the Destin area Easter week. A few nights at Topsail State Preserve ($42/night) and then a few nights at Grayton beach State Park ($30/night). Both with full hook ups. Stopping at Coastal Ga RV Resort in Brunswick Georgia for a night on the way there and then on the way back. About $38/night there. It's a great stopping point.
