Holly Recreation Area in Michigan

We normally camp in Ontario Provincial Parks, and like the rustic style camping, with electric hookups. We thought we might like to try something in Michigan. We are looking at Holly Recreation Area because from the pictures available on the reservation site, many of the sites seem close to the kind of camping we like.

Any feedback on this camping area?

    If you were camping in the Pinery Park, then you know the kind of camping we like. The Pinery is on our list for October.

    Holly Rec area is great. Beautiful with lots of biking and walking trails. Nice beach short walk from camping. We live not too far away. Also in the area is Seven Lakes SP and Metamora SP. They are a little busier with more children as they are right on the water. Have fun. By the way, we just got back from Grand Bend. Love it there.
