What we found out is the trip south and north from snow birding is the best part. When you take 4-6 weeks coming and going, and 3 months parked south, that travel need is pretty much fulfilled for us.
It feels real good to come back to all the comforts that a full size "home" can offer for the summer. I think those comforts are especially appreciated by the one who has to do the dishes, laundry, make the bed, iron, cook, wrap gifts, etc...
I agree John, No desire what so ever to live in a "metal box with rubber tires" 365 days a year. Love coming home and getting ground ready for a garden so I can make my sauce for the season, hope those tomatoes grow sweet this year!
