Hotels / Motels to stay at while traveling to Florida

I would like to know if anyone can suggest any Hotels/Motels that are easy on easy off interstate 81 around Carlisle P.A. and Chambersburg P.A. I have a new trailer and I want to make sure I will not have a problem getting into and out of the Hotel/Motel and have lots of room park .
  • Look up your favorite brand of Motel in the area you are going to be in and simply give them a call. They will tell you if they have adequate parking for an RV.

FYI... Semi Truck drivers often stay in motels.... they have to park somewhere.

We use a Motel a couple times a year going to Florida from Indiana over Christmas week. Even though we have the camper, we don't want to un-winterize the camper until we are well South of the snow-belt. Usually, the first day of travel does not get us far enough South, so we anticipate our distance, find a motel that is pet friendly and always ask about parking the truck and trailer. We've NEVER had problems anywhere.

Yes, there are times when a motel is needed, even when we have our campers with us!
  • Ummm why not just use the trailer? It is possible to find RV parks that are open year round, but it does take a bit of research.
