Really? well we thought Boston and the Washington DC Mall in July were as hot if not hotter.

We were in Washington one year in August.. And it was hot and humid also. I'm not sure about Boston, we try and stay away from big cities at all costs! And usually take our big trips in Sept or Oct..

Likewise we usually avoid cities, but we had to take the kids on a national heritage trip at least once, DC, Boston, Lexington & Concord ect. And trips had to match up with school schedules so it was June and July mostly.

  • Well it's the obvious, Death Valley in July one year. Tho I have to say Phoenix in July was very hot, but not quite as bad. We live in Florida where mid-90's with 80% humidity are the norm for summer. We did have a year with temps in the mid-100's and that was stifling.
  • Current location - Caballo NM - have gotten to 108 so far and it appears it will be cooling into the 90's now for July/August. Appreciate that it does cool down more here at night vs. the hot humid coastline areas.
