How hard will it be to find an overnight spot in FL in Jan?

I am moving permanently to FL in mid January. I will be driving the TT down from Washington DC to below Sarasota. As I am the only driver, I am allowing myself like 3 days or so to get down there. ...

Often Paynes Prairie State Park just south of Gainesville has spots open (unless there is an event)...it is one of the cheapest Fl state parks (don't tell anyone) but hot as heck when the weather warms up.
