If you want to spend a few bucks on a great meal in Savannah, go to the Pink House. You can dress up or down, no one cares. DH says the shrimp and grits are the best meal he has ever had. We go to Savannah every year for our anniversary and love so much about it. Greatly enjoyed our 'visit' to Bonaventure Cemetery. So much history! We also enjoy our own 'pub crawl' in Savannah. Can start on Bay Street and then go down to River Street. Fortunately now there's an elevator next to the Hyatt that makes the 'step down' much easier. We also love Savannah Smiles - it's a dueling pianos bar. Great fun and fair prices! In Charleston, definitely take a carriage ride (make sure to get book of discounts - they're everywhere). For food in Charleston, depends on how much you want to spend. GREAT and pricy restaurants in the central market area - as well as T Bones (not part of any restaurant chain) that is a local-type bar and grill. Have a great trip!
