Hunting Island State Park reservation
I just cancelled a Hunting Island reservation for 10-7 to 10-21 for site 13. This will go fast. Most of the sites near the water get reserved 11 months in advance. Good luck.

This is in South Carolina and it is a wonderful park right on the beach. It is outside of Beaufort, SC; about midway between Charleston and Savannah (1 1/2 hrs each way). It is above Hilton Head about 30 miles.
