I don't really care for Edisto. There's not too many sites down by the water, most of the sites are across the road and back in the woods. The water there is WAY too salty to drink.
Santee is right off of 95. Was just there last weekend actually. If you do go there, try to get the sites next to the office campground. They're usually bigger and more spaced out.
