Hunting Island State Park, SC

We are headed to Hunting Island for the first time during Easter week. Hunting Island always gets such good reviews and comments, so we are excited to check it out. Can someone tell us their experience with the wifi? My husband will probably have to work some of the time and needs internet access.

Also, we have never been to Beaufort and wondered if anyone had any " must see, do, or eats" to pass along? Thanks.

    We're back from our 3 nights at Hunting Island and we loved it! We are now scheduled to go back for 4 nights in November. We really lucked out this trip getting the 3 nights on loop 2 (lot 55) on such short notice. Looking for 3 - 4 nights between now and December for lots 54 or 55 the first available was the first week in November. Which I grabbed.

    Loved having the beach right there - walk to and from the RV without having to load up.

    I have driven through Beaufort in the past and I opted for the truck route. Kind of cool going past Parris Island. I hope we will be able to stop and make use of some of the shops next time. ;)
