Hwy 10 from Austin, TX to New Orleans
Any suggestion for campgrounds and or things to see and do along that route? Thanks!!

290 from Austin to Houston is prettier country than I-10. But if you use 10, get some BBQ in Lockhart, and get on through Houston. Eat in Lafayette at Prejeans or Cafe Vermillionville. Taking 90 from Lafayette to New Orleans will be more interesting than 10. Actually go on to Breaux Bridge and follow Bayou Teche down to 90. Nice drive along the bayou to St. Martinsville and New Iberia.
