Hwy 126 between 5 & Ventura

Just a place to park for a 1 night stop? Any suggestions? Between 5 and Ventura along Hwy 126
  • Was going to call Mon. about Steckel as there closed on wk-end. How far off 126 is it? Any other info about it?
  • There is suppose to be a KOA in Santa Paula a few miles north of 126.

I found it but they want $45 a night for a no hk up site, and all though that's all we want that's to much $. I'm just wanting a spot to stop as we head north.

Holy Bank robbery Batman!! Try the gas station just before the stop light where the freeway starts. If early enough ask one of the fruit stands if you can stay there.

This is a County Park about 8 miles north of 126. There are a few full hook up sites, but most are just camp sites.

The FHU are $36, dry is $22. Not bad for SoCal. For reservations look at Ventura County Parks Department. If the middle of the week, you wont need reservations.
