I 29 heading south. Need help on CG's

We are on I 29 in North Dakota just outside of Grand Fork heading south. We want to travel around 400 miles a day. Looks like the next stop will be near Sioux Falls. Our final destination will be Louisiana. Does anyone have suggestions where to stay along the way. Last night we stayed in a State CG called Turtle Creek a great stop. We are fulltimers and love the traveling time of the year, when we have time to research each stay. This trip is one of those, got to move quick times. Any suggestions where to stay will be a great help Thanks

Victorian Acres is in Nebraska City. It's west of the interstate a few miles, but a nice stay.

not sure this will fit into your trip planning as i'm not sure how far Sioux Falls to NE City is.

    Edit:
Upon hitting google maps, you'll want to be driving well beyond that point in a 400 mile day. you'll be in KC or beyond.

We use GOOGLE MAPS here... You can open your google map for Grand Forks ND and then just type in 'RV PARKS' in the search window. This will show you RV PARKS locations as you head down the I29 Interstate.

Then you can click on the RV PARKS listed on the left side of the page for more detail. I have to keep refreshing the search as I move down the I29 roadmap.

This ends at Kansas City MO I guess so you will need to find a different Interstate going on more south....

  • If you can drive 2 more hours past Sioux Falls there is Lewis and Clark SP at Onawa IA which is very nice. There is also a KOA at the same exit, but they close next week. I second the Victorian Acres reference, another great spot, but near the IA/MO border. Just there a week ago for local camping.
  • If you are going on South on I-49, in Peculiar, MO (just south of KC) is Peculiar Place RV Park, down at Carthage at Coachlight RV Sales, they have a nice little park behind the dealership. From there not much on down 71 (I-540) until you get to Alma. Not sure of which direction you are going.
