I-5 and west in Oregon

We are interested in hearing from anyone who lives in Oregon alomg the I-5 corridor and west to the Pacific. We are looking for full service campgrounds that might not be on the radar for others looking for a place for kids. Winter weather will also be a factor in our plans. I can give more detailed information in a PM but all information will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  • Any of the Oregon State Parks. Champoeg has fantastic history. Valley of the Rogue has wonderful history lessons in the area, plus some interesting tourist traps like the Oregon vortex, Historic Jacksonville, and Oregon Caves.
West of I5 on the coast, again any of the Oregon State Parks will offer hours of entertainment for kids and grown ups alike. Plus there are some really nice private parks on the coast like Winchester Bay RV. Pick one and if your disappointed I'll pay for your first night.
  • No such thing as "under the radar" in my book. Might help if we knew where you coming from/to - what road you plan on taking to the coast - and how long your planing on staying.
  • Canyonville is little more than a casino town. I think your kids would go crazy there, but I don't know their interests. Plenty of CGs along the I-5 corridor nearer to larger cities if that's what you're looking for. How about a little more detail on exactly what you're looking for and how much you're willing to pay?
  • Try Seven Feathers in Canyonville, Or.. Heated indoor pool, spa, exercise room, free transportaton to your rig, or other places you may want to go. Very Clean.
