We have stayed at Oak Creek a few times on our way south. It is OK for an overnight. If you decide to go there, follow the signs and go slow after you make the right turn towards the c.g. It comes up very quickly and it is easy to miss the driveway. There is also a Flying J at that exit (I think) so easy to top up the tank at the end of the day.
Last year it was a nightmare going through Cincinnati; there was a lot of construction and lanes being re-routed and heavy traffic. Last year after we had come through there, part of an old bridge collapsed on the highway. I think it is the worst area we go through on our way to Florida. Maybe it will be a bit better this year.
