You evidently didn't come far enough south !
Here in the Keys it has been a delightful winter with hardly any rain.
I need to water the plants every other day.
I think so far since October I only had to wear a sweat shirt on about four occassions and all other days is a bathing suit and T shirt.
I do notice that Miami and Naples seem to get a good amount of rain.
Next winter come down to "the rock" and experience the real paradise!
