The state park you mention is the same exit as the rest stop going west bound on I-84. There is a small booth as you go into the park....however, the last 4 or 5 times I have gone in there has been no one monitoring the booth.
The dump is about 100 yards further into the park...We have dumped here(memaloose) when we have stayed at the Deschutes River State Park as they don't have any dump facilities and while no one has asked @ Memaloose the park rangers at Deschutes River State Park shared that we should just tell anyone that asks that we had spend the weekend at the Deschutes River S.P.
Camping World in Wood Village is right off the freeway....and as others have said very easy off----easy on. Not sure of the cost or facilities @ Camping World.
