If I understand your problem, you want to find a place to park your RV for a night or two as you travel around, and want to avoid CGs that have long term campers.
Stay at KOAs. Half the people on this web site hate them, so they won't be there long term, or even short term. And they aren't cheap.
Stay out of the southern states in the winter months and the northern states in the summer months. Stay away from the Atlantic, Pacific and Gulf coast states. They're popular places to camp. And don't stay anyplace in Florida - ever.
Away from the coasts, avoid the big name attractions like Yellowstone, the Black Hills of South Dakota, and Glacier NP.
Matter of fact, come to my home town of Cincinnati. If anything exciting happens here, it occurs 50 years after it happens everyplace else. We don't try anything that might be a fad. You can still buy black and white TVs and 8 track tapes and players here. We do have satellite TV. Last night I watched Roy Rogers and Dale Evans catch a bad guy.
