As you can see there are tremendous opportunities for adventure in this beautiful land of ours. We have made several cross country trips over the years and I'd like to share some thoughts. Make a plan. Make it loose and flexible. Pick a region,ie, the northeast, as an example. Plan accordingly , doing research as to what attractions, historical, recreational, tourist, and map out a route. As for the northeast, I would include New England, and canadian NB, NS,and PEI with any northeast trip plan. This trip alone could easily encompass a month spent exploring this region alone.
