In my many trips out west from Cincinnati, I've found a couple of gems by going through Iowa and Nebraska along I-80. It would be a shame to miss What Cheer, Iowa. The answer is just a normal small midwest town of 600+ folks, but there's an exit for it and I had to find out.
The other gem is in Alliance, Nebraska, as I was heading north from I-80 to I-90 and the Black Hills area. I refer, of course, to Carhenge. A copy of England's Stonehenge but its made of wrecked cars, buried vertically in a circle in a field. The very definition of somebody having too much time on their hands. Me too, I guess. :)
