Besides Danforth Bay, look at Meredith Woods CG in Meredith, NH. VERY centrally located to mountains, seacoast, etc. Check out North Beach CG in Burlington, VT, run by city parks dept. - Right on Lake Champlain and a great bike trail. Not too wooded or secluded, but a great location. ST
