Now you are right on the border of Great Smokey Mountain Nat Park. You can camp in the park if you want to do the hiking/fishing/nature thing, or just drive through. Just on the other side is Pidgeon Forge (home of Dollywood) and Gatlinburg, and there is plenty to do/see there.

Acadia. Ditto. Bar Harbor has lots of outdoor activities such as sailing and whale watching. The park has scenic drives, carriage tours, hiking a beach (VERY cold water!), and there's lot of things like mini golf, go karts, etc.
