Indian Cave State Park -- SE Nebraska

Question

Thinking about taking my family on a quick weekend trip to SE Nebraska for the Applejack Festival in Nebraska City.  I am considering reserving a spot at Indian Cave State Park.  Does anyone have experience here?  Never been there and just looking for some insight from experienced campers.

Yes, it is a nice place to camp, especially in the fall.  There are a LOT of hiking trails.  Have a great time!

Yes, we spent a night there in September, 2012. We enjoyed it. Some very nice campsites. It is "off the beaten path," but that suited us just fine.

Nice park.  We have been there several times.  However, in October it is very popular with the spook fest.  Weekends are full.  Some open spots can be found during the week.Have fun.

Used to go to Indian Cave once or twice a year, neat place. Not so close to Nebraska City, though.
