There are some pretty good sticks there, but some of them have never learned not to sit on the rails. - darsbenExplorer IIIf you are over 55 Fiesta Grande in Casa Grande, AZ has a beautiful pool room with IIRC 12 - 14 tables. There is an active league plays in the winter. They also host and travel to tournaments.

http://fiestagrande.org/ - RoyBExplorer IIThe Wichita Falls NORTH TX BARS AND LOUNGES does their part rather nice supporting the POOL TABLES all over town... I suppose all of the biker towns do this...
Doing SCOTT STREET after hours gets real exciting at times from one end of town to the other...
I used to do the Silver Dollar and The Promiseland back in the day quite regular. When you see bars with names like FAST EDDIEs and FAT ALBERTs you know its going to be POOL HALL night...
Every Monday night is POOL NIGHT in WiskyTall Falls and all the BAR Patrons play pool against all the other POOL HALL places... Lets you get to see the other side of town without getting your butt whipped hehe...
Roy Ken - riven1950ExplorerNot had much luck finding good tables at a CG yet. We play in two APA leagues at home and are always looking for a local bar / pool hall where we can shoot. Many tables in smaller CG seem neglected and poorly maintained. Maybe in large CG with more permanent residents or Snowbirds, but we have not tried that route yet.
- D___MExplorerI have never seen a campground that has good tables. Usually an old beater in the game room.
If you are ever in the DC area and choose to stay at Cherry Hill CG, or the Fort Meade FamCamp, there is a pool hall in the area called BankShots. Not at the campgrounds, but within a few miles of the CGs. They have about 20 well maintained tables, APA leagues, and pickup 8 ball and 9 ball tourneys. A lot of good shooters come out of there. The woman's team were National champs in 2013, and they always send several teams to Vegas for the National tourney. One of my friends came in third place in the Masters division tourney, held in Vegas a couple of weeks ago.
I don't know very much about how to shoot, but I would like to learn. So perhaps if you are in town, I could be enticed to play a game. And I have been told that if there is a small wager placed on the outcome, the game can be so much more exciting. ;) - LaurenExplorerThe Palms in Yuma has, as I recall, 18 tables and hosts the state tournament there as I have been told (kinda speaks to the quality of the tables). I have seen the room and the tables but have not played on them. They are available for rv guests staying there.
Years ago I played a lot of pool and snooker.
