You might want to pick a state and ask for the top ten attractions, I remember about a year ago someone started one for the State of Oregon and it had some wonderful suggestion.
If your ever in Washington State, I would recommend 1) The 101 loop around the Peninsula, and 2) when you get to Port Angeles take the Ferry to Victoria 3) and when you see the sign for Ruby Beach, you stop even in the rain 4) and then don't miss the Hoh either. 5) Mima Mounds if you find yourself driving on I 5 just south of Olympia. 6) Olympia, find a place to park and walk the downtown area, its like a blast of the 60ies past. 7) Mt St Helens with a stop at the Lava tubes. 8) Leavenworth, Lake Chelan taking the boat up the lake, Winthrop
9) Grand Coulee Dam, 10) Palouse, in the fall.
