We did most of that trip in May of this year.
There is a COE CG in Ozark AR right on a river. Western AR, abou 475 miles from Nashville. Be aware of trains at odd hours. It was either 10 or 11 dollars with the geezer pass.
The next night was Amarillo for Palo Duro Canyon and the Big Texan Steak House.
On to Albuquerque, Winslow, and Lake Havasu before looping back to I10 and home. I wish we had stayed longer in Albuquerque and adjusted Lake Havasu to make up for the change. May is no time for western AZ.
One other thing. Be on the west side of any city if you plan on leaving early in the AM on the way west. Reverse on the way home. We got jammed up big time staying on the east side of Nashville the first night.
