Thanks for all the advice. I think we are going to just do Rapid City area, Cody, Yellowstone and the Tetons this time around and leave some flexibility in the schedule. It looks like we can still get reservations for some of the nights at Fishing Bridge, so we'll have to pin down what days we need to make reservations there. The rest we can figure out over the next few weeks.
I'm glad I came here and asked. I thought it seemed a little overwhelming when we actually started to count days at each stop. I'm going to start digging in to the forums to find some nice places to stay in these areas. I've had a few coworkers tell me to leave at least a few days near Custer Park, and my wife is looking forward to seeing some things in Cody, so maybe I'll bump that stay up a few days as well. I'm also thinking maybe we should rent a car in Yellowstone to get around a bit easier.
