Up to Bend from K Falls and then east to Burns and south to French Glen. On the way south you'll visit Malheur Wildlife preserve,HUGE, and then to the Glen. Plan on spending several days there visiting the Diamond Craters and trasveling up and around Steens Mountain,which is a huge fault block mtn. There are several hot springs in the area,one at Malheur area,one at nthe south end of the Alvord desert road and Buffalo at the north end of the desert which is so hot that there are signs warning folks not to approach them. The high desert is awesome.
