Jellystone Parks

We are thinking of trying out some Jellystone Parks in our general region. We live in New Jersey. Has anyone been to a Jellystone Park that they really love? I would appreciate any recommendations.

We used to go to the Lone Star Yogi twice a year when the kids were young. Money well spent.
  • Our children are all grown, but we use the River Bottom Farms Jellystone in SC every year for a canoe race we do, and I can't say enough about how nice a place it is.
If we had children and were looking for a great place for them I would go there and a heart beat.
The price is reasonable. and there are all kinds of activities for the children including a large swimming pool.
It is kept very clean, and every site is on nice grass

the price was thirty some odd dollars a night

    Jellystone Shangri-La in Milton PA.

Got the kids and grandkids a cabin and us a pull through with full hookup for a week and we had a great time. Lots of activities for the kids. This was our second year in Milton.

There is Jellystone near home in Freemont IN with a water park but at $90 a night to camp, it's a bit pricey for my book.

If Freemont is the one off the tollway, then my brother was just there and they had a great time. yes it is pricey, but when done once in a while it`s no big deal!

  • We've been to the Jellystone in Sturbridge, MA. It was absolutely our WORST camping experience, ever. Check RVPark Reviews. I can't believe the parent company allows this to continue. After being there, I'm in no hurry to ever stay at another Jellystone. I would have felt safer at a rest stop along a highway than I did there.
  • We have never been to a Jellystone we didn't like! Great franchise. Much better than the other franchise!!!

    Absolutely correct.
  • I think most of them are pretty standard...lots of things for kids.

We have stayed in the one in Cosby, TN (Smoky Mountains) and the one in Luray, VA and they had pools, water (one a river, one a pond), water slide, putt putt, bounce pads, game rooms, etc.
