Just a review on an Ardmore Oklahma RV park

I am a full timer and would like to warn everyone that if you stay at Ardmore RV Park you stay there at your own risk. They have no supervision of the park. They are not a family friendly RV park. I guess if you don't mind being in a park that allows your kid to be bullied or neighboring rvers visitors to talk to paying customers anyway they please then this is your park.
  • So the problem is the other campers in the park?

Did you report them to the management?
  • As you have just joined yesterday and made your first post:

    Welcome.

Please supply more specific facts. Your post sounds like a "teaser" ad for the news on TV. Just enough to spark interest without any real information.

You show your location in Ardmore, yet you are full time? Full time in your hometown? I'm confused.
  • Don't know why anyone would camp in Ardmore in the wintertime.

Had a friend that took a job in Ardmore and come winter he said all he could see was ice for miles. He called in his resignation and came back to central Texas.:D
  • I just checked RV Park Reviews. One camper gave it a 1 because some tree branches touched his RV (but left no scratches), two others gave it an 8, and one was removed by the editors (maybe your's?). But a FHU park including cable and WIFI for $25/night along I-35 is a bargain even if it was on a concrete parking lot.
And if your kid is being bullied and the neighbor's visitors didn't talk nice to you, you need to pick a new hobby. Maybe you're the one that's out of step with the rest of the camping world.

The one review that was removed was back in 2009 and both reviews by that user were removed at the same time. As one of the admins for that site, I can say that the removals probably were associated with it being subsequently discovered that the reviewer had financial ties to the sites he had reviewed.

To my knowledge the OP has not submitted a review of this park but we would not be willing to publish a review of the sort that started this thread. We insist that some substantive information be provided; a review that says "keep away" without some specifics would not get approved.
