- guidryExplorerYears ago when we bought our first TT they gave us two free nights at this resort. Place was nice but the catch was we had to attend a 90 minute presentation to buy into a membership. High pressure sales and when we said we wanted time to think about it, the salesman became rude. I told him off and we left. I don’t know if they still sell memberships or not. If they went to regular campground I’d probably stay there though.
- huntramExplorerKQ is a CRA Campground (Colorado River Adventure). We go through RPI for $10.00 a night. We enjoy it, seems like sense of family there.
- Gonzo42ExplorerUpdate:
Went there this Friday after a disastrous detour due to construction on the roads and NO SIGNS indicating which road was which. However, thats just an aside.
We arrived at the campground and the gate check lady told us among other things that there was no cable, only sattelite in the clubhouse.
Then she told us that MOSTLY the snakes were gone because of the cold weather. Immediatley DW went into full PANIC MODE.
We had to drive to a parking lot which was supposed to be the only convenient LEVEL area with which to unhook our toad. It looked like a junkyard with the exception of a very new-looking class A.
But by that time it was too late: DW was not going to stay there, so we turned around and left. The gatekeeper lady was very courteous and also gave us accurate road directions back to Temecula.
